Dr. Jensen Ng is an Anaesthesiologist with a keen interest in patient safety and clinical quality matters, having served as the Chairman the Hospital Transfusion Committee, and Member of the Quality and Patient Safety Committee of TTSH. As the Co-Lead of an Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) programme, he developed and implemented protocols to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes following surgery.

He subspecialises in Intensive Care Medicine, and spent a year as an International Fellow at University Health Network in Toronto, Canada. His previous role as the Co-Director of the Outbreak ICU at NCID gave him direct experience with both clinical management of critically-ill COVID-19 patients, and operational aspects of outbreak response.

As a passionate medical educator, he had organised and lectured at numerous medical conferences and workshops, spanning such topics as Point-of-Care Ultrasound, Neurocritical Care and Trauma Anaesthesia.

Dr. Ng is active in professional societies. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (Anaesthesiology), and a Member of its Chapter of Intensivists. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Singapore.
