Dr Jerry Ee is an experienced Anaesthetist and teacher with years of public service in both Singapore and the USA. He completed his anaesthesia residency and pain fellowship at Loma Linda, California after graduating from medical school in 1998. He obtained Board Certification in Anesthesiology (2005) and Pain Medicine (2006).

In more than 10 years of public service in NUH, he served as an NUS Assistant Professor at the Department of Anaesthesia - including one term as Director of Undergraduate Education for Anaesthesia. He was passionate about teaching the next generation of doctors, and explaining issues that are important to each patient and caregiver.

While his life revolves around his family, he is passionate about making and drinking coffee.  The science and art of pulling a great espresso mirrors what he does on a daily basis as an anaesthetist - dose beans precisely, grind at the optimal size, distribute evenly, tamp consistently, extract, make adjustments if needed - and repeat.
