Dr Tan Sue-Anne graduated from NUS in 2003. She then obtained her Master of Medicine (Anaesthesiology) from NUS in 2008, and became a qualified specialist with the National University Hospital in 2011.

Her subspecialty is Neuroanaesthesia, and she was awarded a Academic Medicine Development Award to spend a year as an international fellow in Neuro Anaesthesia, in Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, England in 2013.

While with NUH, she was a part of the Neuroanaesthesia sub specialty group, where she helped to create the requirements for residency training. A passionate teacher, she has taught medical students and lectured Nurses doing their advanced diploma in her role as an Assistant Professor with the Yong Loo Lin school of medicine.

​

She believes in tailoring treatment to the individual and likes to involve her patients in the decision making.

An animal lover, she has an adopted cat, and loves to try out new recipes to feed her family of 4.
